I find myself still skeptical of the high-cost-to-performance-gain afforded by the broomball shoes. While they undoubtedly help, the wearers zooming around on them had much more general on-ice playing experience than I did. Thus, I’m not yet sold on the shoes making me a better player – I need more on-ice experience first.
